Shaun  is a serial entrepreneur, nonprofit professional, grant proposal writer, social enterprise consultant and innovative finance pioneer turned venture capital/private equity advisor dedicated to harnessing some of the most profit-driven concepts from the private sector (private equity, venture capital and investment banking) and re-tooling them into vehicles for social impact. He brings more than a decade of professional experience spanning across both the public and private sectors, which has allowed him to develop a specialization in P3 (also known as public-private partnerships). 

Currently, Shaun is Founder & Managing Director at SoTech Ventures. SoTech Ventures is a market leader and pioneer in the arenas of impact investing and venture philanthropy and has spearheaded the implementation of the “Venture Sponsorship Entity” model with early-stage technology companies as well as several investment firms. He and his firm leverage their expertise in partnership with NEX-Impact to support clients in the creation and development of innovative social enterprises and other revenue-generating nonprofit programs. Prior to founding SoTech Ventures, Shaun worked in program management and fund development capacities at several nonprofits in the Los Angeles area with annual budgets ranging from $250,000 to as large as $23 million. 

Shaun received his bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with focuses on Business, Sociology and Criminal Justice from Liberty University.
